Paper Pumpkin Treat Bags!

This is my favorite Paper Pumpkin kit so far!!

I changed this one up a bit to use at my Thanksgiving table!  Found the idea on Glenda Calkin’s blog.  Then I added a button closure so that all the goodies won’t fall out!

IMG_6467I also made a few cards with the kit.  Found this idea on Katy McGloin’s blog.  Only thing I changed was to use my new Note Tag Punch.

IMG_6469I loved this card by Michelle Quinno, but didn’t have the Dots & Stripes Mask.  So, guess where my polka dots came from?!  There’s this leftover circle in the Chalk Talk Stamp Set!  I knew I’d find a use for it!

Last, but not least, I love this card made by Connie Babbert!  So I made my own version here:

Createwithcheryl Twisty TreatsThese bags were FREE with Sale-a-bration.  Wish I would have ordered more of them because they were super easy to put together!!  There’s still today & tomorrow, so I might have to place another $50 order.  How about you?  Hurry.  Sale-a-bration ends after March 31st.

Paper Pumpkin Steps Up!

I was so pleased with my Paper Pumpkin box this month!!  Stampin’ Up! has really stepped things up! PP Happy Bag

The box contained 5 heavy bags to decorate as we liked.  The letters & stamps were included and I just added punches to the bottom. PP Enjoy PP Love U Bag

The stamps (stripes & dots) were different…I think they were the polymer type.  They stick amazingly well to the clear block!!  No chance of them falling off! PP Smile Bag

Here’s my last (& favorite) one: PP Aloha Bag

Don’t you love it?!  Got the hula girl idea from Sandy Hancock.

Here’s the punches I used:

Hair:  Round Tab XL

Head:  1″ circle

Arms:  1 1/4″ circle

Skirt:  1 3/8″ circle…fringed

Flowers:  Itty Bitty Shapes & 1/4″ circle from the owl punch Hula Girl

I’ve added my bags to My Paper Pumpkin Challenge!

Tag a Bag to the rescue!

I’m flying out tonight and just remembered I want to bring along some gifts for my sister in laws on the mainland.  I tend to be last minute like this…

So, who wouldn’t love to receive a stack of homemade cards?  And I just happen to have about 100 cards sitting around waiting for a home.  Just needed to find some cute/quick packaging.

Tag a Bag 1

Tag a Bag to the rescue!  Stuck a stack of cards in the Gift Bags (only $3.95 for 10), closed the bag with washi tape, wrapped baker’s twine around it & made the tag.  It only took a few minutes & they’re so cute!

Tag a Bag 2

These come in the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit, along with a bunch of tags that punch out.  These are all on page 158 of the big catalog.

I think they’ll love them.  Better go pack!  The plan is to see Grandma & eat lots of Mexican food!!

More Candlelight Christmas

Here’s a couple more things we made at class last weekend…

This bag is a simple & pretty way to show off your scraps of DSP!

And this fancy favor box is so easy to make, and a perfect way to use those window sheets that are included with Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper!  I might be crankin’ out quite a few of these whenever I find the 3 bundles of Candlelight Christmas DSP that are MIA!!  Look for the girl with a full table of these at the ST JOSEPH’S CRAFT FAIR (November 17).
