I changed this one up a bit to use at my Thanksgiving table! Found the idea on Glenda Calkin’s blog. Then I added a button closure so that all the goodies won’t fall out!
I also made a few cards with the kit. Found this idea on Katy McGloin’s blog. Only thing I changed was to use my new Note Tag Punch.
I loved this card by Michelle Quinno, but didn’t have the Dots & Stripes Mask. So, guess where my polka dots came from?! There’s this leftover circle in the Chalk Talk Stamp Set! I knew I’d find a use for it!
I’m flying out tonight and just remembered I want to bring along some gifts for my sister in laws on the mainland. I tend to be last minute like this…
So, who wouldn’t love to receive a stack of homemade cards? And I just happen to have about 100 cards sitting around waiting for a home. Just needed to find some cute/quick packaging.
Tag a Bag to the rescue! Stuck a stack of cards in the Gift Bags (only $3.95 for 10), closed the bag with washi tape, wrapped baker’s twine around it & made the tag. It only took a few minutes & they’re so cute!
These come in the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit, along with a bunch of tags that punch out. These are all on page 158 of the big catalog.
I think they’ll love them. Better go pack! The plan is to see Grandma & eat lots of Mexican food!!
Here’s a couple more things we made at class last weekend…
This bag is a simple & pretty way to show off your scraps of DSP!
And this fancy favor box is so easy to make, and a perfect way to use those window sheets that are included with Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper! I might be crankin’ out quite a few of these whenever I find the 3 bundles of Candlelight Christmas DSP that are MIA!! Look for the girl with a full table of these at the ST JOSEPH’S CRAFT FAIR (November 17).
