Happy December! This month I used one of my favorite stamp sets: Work of Art! So simple to make a pretty card using this set. My colors are Real Red, Crumb Cake, and Wild Wasabi. The branch is from An Open Heart.
Be sure and SLOW DOWN a bit this month and enjoy your family & friends and be sure to relax with a little stamping! I have to tell myself this every day. And focus on the “reason for the season”…JESUS! We have so much to be thankful for!
Contact me to order your own 2016 desktop calendars for just $12 each. These include a sturdy plastic case. The good news is shipping is just $6, no matter how many sets you order! Order them soon to get them for Christmas.
Can’t wait to see what Anne & Crystal have done this month!

Leaves for November. Don’t you love the colors?! Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, and Soft Suede. This stamp set is retired, but we have 2 current leaf sets that are beautiful! Vintage Leaves and Lighthearted Leaves.
I’ll be on the mainland for part of this month & plan to search around for some pretty leaves like this! Looking forward to seeing my two daughters!! Miss them so much!
This is a mini blog hop! So be sure to stop by Crystal & Anne’s blogs to see what they came up with for their November Calendars!
I love this retired set…Holiday Home!! Colored the house with my markers. Fall is my favorite time of year and I sure miss the beautiful leaves on the mainland!! I lived in Denver for 3 years before I was married and used to go hiking almost every weekend. The aspen trees are gorgeous!
But, alas, I’m stuck on Maui! Ha!
I’ll be in Las Vegas with Mom the beginning of this month. My brother & I plan to take her to a few shows & see Hoover Dam. Maybe they’ll have some beautiful leaves?! I have a feeling it’ll just be HOT, HOT, HOT!
I’ll be having another Tin of Cards Class on Saturday, October 10th at 11am. Hope you can join us in making this beautiful & practical set of cards! Contact me for more info.
And please share a comment with any Las Vegas Suggestions!! Food? Shows?? Lucky numbers??

I love the silhouette stamps in the set “World of Dreams”! This technique is so simple & pretty! I punched a circle first & used that to mask the rest of the calendar page before stamping with En Francais background.
I used my markers to color my stamp in Wild Wasabi & Elegant Eggplant.
Here’s a closer look:
Can’t wait to see what Anne & Crystal have come up with for September!
Welcome to our August Calendar Mini-blog! This month I’ve used Kinda Eclectic to make my page. The leaves are so, so pretty! You can see where I’ve stamped the leaf image first on top and then stamped again without re-inking. The colors are Pear Pizzazz and Wisteria Wonder.
Hope you’re having a great summer day! Hop on over to Anne & Crystal’s blogs & see what they’ve come up with!
Time for my July calendar page!
I used one of the prettiest stamp sets I own: Everything Eleanor. The colors are Tangerine Tango & Strawberry Slush. I’ve been spending time in the garden the last few weeks & have some roses that just keep blooming! And gardenias! Lucky me to live in Haiku!! Anne always gives me a bad time for moving out to the country, but I know she’s secretly jealous…
Look closely and you can see the dazzling diamond dots on the flowers. Simply dab around a bit using your 2 way glue pen & sprinkle on Dazzling Diamonds!
Now it’s time to check out the creative calendar pages that Anne & Crystal have come up with for July!
My June Calendar Page really says SUMMER to me! The stamp set is Cycle Celebration and Kinda Eclectic sun, Work of Art clouds & Gorgeous Grunge road. I can remember riding my bike around for hours in the summer evenings until it was time for dinner. This was when my mom would kick us outside to entertain ourselves…way before cell phones or computers!
I just finished reading a book called The Circle by Dave Eggers that kind of creeped me out! It was basically a modern re-telling of 1984, set within the context of a tech company in the present day. Now I find myself being more aware of the time I’m spending on computer and what I say on Facebook! Spent some time outside today in the garden just digging in the dirt. That’s summer to me!
This is a mini-blog hop! Be sure & check out what Crystal and Anne have done for their June Calendars!
