Happy Easter!

Here’s what we made in our March club:

Createwithcheryl Easter Bunny

This sweet card was CASED totally from Mary Fish.  Love the muted colors, and the Starburst Framelit.

  • Stamps: Eggstra Spectacular
  • Colors:  Whisper White, Smokey Slate (4 X 3 3/4), Daffodil Delight
  • Accessories: Watercolor Wonder DSP (3 3/4 X 3 1/2), Circle Framelits (#4 & #5), Starburst Framelits Dies (#3), Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Ribbon Seam Binding, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

We did have to cut out bunny, but that wasn’t so bad.  She’s popped up using a dimensional.

One more project:

Createwithcheryl purple bucket

Found these cute little buckets on Pick Your Plum, & I couldn’t resist!  Perfect for holding all your essentials for your craft table!  And, after months of protesting, I pulled out my Sizzlits S Pinwheel Die & found it simple to put together!

Have a Happy Easter!!

One of my favorite Peeps!

When I saw this fluffy Peep, I knew just who had to have it!!  Anne & I bonded over peeps on a very memorable Girl Scout camp out years ago.  She packed up her leftover Peeps from Easter (be prepared, you know!) and we ended up roasting them & eating them with S’mores!  I was the only one brave enough to bite, as I remember.  Click here to see a photo that’s better than words!

Createwithcheryl Chick BoxHad to make a special box for my special friend!

  • Colors:  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie
  • Accessories: Mosaic Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch (retired),  3/4″ circle punch,  1/2″ circle punch, Cupcake Punch,  Quatrefancy Specialty DSP

Stamp a Stack Samples

I’m having a Stamp-a-Stack class this Tuesday, March 25th at 2pm at my house in Haiku and I’d love for you to join me!

IMG_4437

This is what I have so far… I’m trying to decide on a 5th card, because there are just so many cute ideas out there!!

  • Tuesday, March 25th
  • 2pm – 4:30pm
  • Cost:  $12 or FREE with your $25 order placed that day
  • We’ll make 5 cards with envelopes to match.  (Originally 4 cards, but make 5 if you have the time!)
  • RSVP today or Monday morning, so that I have time to prep

If you’d like to attend my Stamp-a-Stack classes, but aren’t available during the times I have them, please let me know when you’d like to have them & I’ll try to accommodate you.  If you’re coming to class, feel free to suggest the type of card you’d like!  I’m thinking I need a “manly” card or kid’s birthday.  What do you think?

I’ve had several requests for directions to make my Bunny Card…so here they are:

Createwithcheryl.me Bunny Hole 2

Card Base is Crumb Cake, textured with Wood Grain (#127821).  Punch the Bunny Hole using the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  Using Gumball Green, I cut my grass using the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die and my leaves with the Sizzlits Little Leaves (#114511).

Bunny (Pool Party) uses the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4 X 7/8 Oval Punch and 3/4 X 15/16 Oval Punch, 7/8 Scallop Punch.  Tips:  Put your dimensional for the tail on the Bunny Butt first, then stick on the tail.  That way it won’t show on the other side.  Also, sponging with the Sponge Dabbers (#102892) adds a lot!  The eggs are punched using the same Oval Punch as the feet.  I slipped them under the grass, then added a small dot of Tombo when I was happy with the placement.  I use very small amounts of glue!  I really don’t like when the glue gets all over!  But, just in case, I always have my handy dandy Adhesive Remover (#103684) available!

Here’s the inside:

Createwithcheryl.me Bunny Hole 3

Stamp Set is Eggstra Spectacular (#133072) from the Mini Catalog.

I used the lamb on the envelope.  That’s the Blossom Punch behind the 2 X 1 3/8 Oval Punch.

Hope you have fun making this card.  Whoever receives it will love it!

Thanks for dropping in!  Cheryl
