Card for FMS210

I’ve been waiting for a card sketch that would challenge me to use the little left-over pieces from the Hearth & Home Thinlits.  I found it this week at Freshly Made Sketch #210!

September Club

Ready or not…the holidays are upon us!  This month at club we’ll focus on Halloween.  I’ve come up with 2 cards to choose from, both using the Hearth & Home Framelits Dies.

Halloween Window Card

I LOVE the new window framelits!!  The ideas are endless!  But I cased this card from Brian’s blog. Thanks, Brian!

Here’s a second card, so you’ll have a choice.

Halloween Window Card (2)

You’ll want to purchase the set called Happy Scenes to go with your Hearth & Home Framelits.  They come as a bundle!  Perfect!

Guests welcome.  You just need to place a $25 order that day.

Paper Pumpkin Treat Bags!

This is my favorite Paper Pumpkin kit so far!!

IMG_6465

I changed this one up a bit to use at my Thanksgiving table!  Found the idea on Glenda Calkin’s blog.  Then I added a button closure so that all the goodies won’t fall out!

IMG_6467I also made a few cards with the kit.  Found this idea on Katy McGloin’s blog.  Only thing I changed was to use my new Note Tag Punch.

IMG_6469I loved this card by Michelle Quinno, but didn’t have the Dots & Stripes Mask.  So, guess where my polka dots came from?!  There’s this leftover circle in the Chalk Talk Stamp Set!  I knew I’d find a use for it!

Last, but not least, I love this card made by Connie Babbert!  So I made my own version here:

IMG_6470My Paper Pumpkin group is meeting tomorrow night at Marylou’s office in Kahului.  Stop by if you want to see us in action!  Just email me for details…

If you’d like to order this wonderful Paper Pumpkin kit for yourself, it’s ON SALE NOW for just $7.95 plus tax, S/H.  Let me know how many kits you’d like (6 bags, tags, sequins, stickers included).

I’m participating in the Sweets & Treats Challenge!

Not so Spooky Raven

Oct 2014 2I was trying to come up with a “spooky” Edgar Allen Poe raven thing, but failed when I added “Boo to you”!  I still like it, though!

The background is made by using a “mask” cut from Labels Collection Framelits.  I stamped it with Gorgeous Grunge in Sahara Sand ink.  Leaves & raven are stamped in Elegant Eggplant using Choose Happiness.  Blossoms are from Summer Silhouettes and Boo to You is from a Hostess Set called Good Greetings.  I received that set FREE at convention!!  Love when that happens!!!

Oct 2014 3Time to check out what Crystal and Anne have done with their calendars this month!  They always have new ideas, so check them out!!

St. Anthony Craft Fair

Thanks so much to everyone who visited my booth today at the St. Anthony Craft Fair!

St A CF

A special MAHALO to the Girl Scouts who loved my stuff & helped me pack up & load the van!  You guys are AWESOME!!  Looking forward to heating up my Portuguese Bean Soup for dinner!

Next Craft Fair will be upcountry at St. Joseph Church in Makawao on November 16 (7am – 2pm).  I’ll have more of those Pineapple Turkeys available to decorate your Thanksgiving table.  Another popular item was the gift sets you see at the bottom of the photo.  The set includes a leather portfolio, journal, pen & post-it.

Thanks again to everyone for making it a great day!
