Tunnel Card Fun Fold

I’ve always wanted to learn to make a “tunnel card”, so I signed up for a swap at Convention called “Fun Folds”.  I made my first tunnel card and discovered it’s really simple!!

IMG_6119Can you tell by the photo… it’s a valley, mountain, valley fold.

Here’s a picture of the front of the card.  Love the owl hanging on by his toes!

What to do with the Hamburger Tag?

The new Hamburger Box Bigz Die has 2 cute tags on the end of the die.  One is a long tag you see here attached to the box,

IMG_5002

and the other is a short tag that cuts out a heart in the middle.  It seems so short… and I’ve been trying different ways to use it.

IMG_5006

Here I’ve added a strip of Tangelo Twist CS to make it a little longer.IMG_5007

Here’s another card:

IMG_5008Which one do you like best?  You see the snail adhesive showing at the top of the first card?  That bothers me!!  On this card, I only used Sticky Strip behind the tag, so it won’t show.

I’m sure I’ll soon see some very clever uses for this tag on Pinterest!

Thanks for stopping by!

Createwithcheryl.me Paper Pumpkin Mar 2014 2The paper was this pretty blue design and was nice & thick.  It came with 8 envelopes and these shiny liners.  There was enough so that I could cut off the bottom of each liner to use the extra on my card fronts!

Createwithcheryl.me Paper Pumpkin Mar 2014 1There were 4 wooden Thank You’s and 4 Congrats.

Createwithcheryl.me Paper Pumpkin Mar 2014 3I always like to get creative with these, so I added a doily, butterfly, and some twine.

The kit also contained a stack of those gold sparkly dots you see.Createwithcheryl.me Paper Pumpkin Mar 2014 6I like this one!  I used  Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape, Gold Baker’s Twine, and punched stars from the shiny envelope liner.
